Standard Cut Pinions
John Wardle Pinion Blanks are manufactured from EN8 DM, free cutting medium carbon steel. The blanks are designed to be more than long enough for most Longcase clocks.
Minimum diameter of 6 leaf pinion cut 3.20mm
Minimum diameter of 7 leaf pinion cut 4.55mm
(Please measure over 3 teeth for 7 leaf pinions)
Minimum diameter of 8 leaf pinion cut 3.85mm
